Jalu Bathhouse Release and Waiver of Liability
I understand and acknowledge that my use of the hot tub, sauna, herbal bath, salt cave, cold plunge, and shower facilities, interior and exterior (hereafter referred to as 'Jalu facilities') carries with it certain inherent dangers and risks that no amount of care, caution, instruction or expertise can eliminate, and that there are possibilities of injury and other complications which may result from such use. Prolonged exposure to heat and cold can put your body into shock. Exit immediately it you become nauseous, uncomfortable, dizzy, or sleepy. Please drink plenty of water before, during and after your session. You may not visit if you have recently consumed alcohol, drugs, or any medications that affect your ability to operate your body. I understand and acknowledge that it is solely my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to my use of the Jalu facilities to ensure that I am physically able to use them safely. I acknowledge and agree that if I have any medical or physical condition, including being pregnant or having a compromised immune system, which may be impacted or worsened by the use of the Jalu facilities I have confirmed with my physician that I can safely use said facilities with my condition. I also acknowledge that the likelihood of such risks occurring varies from individual to individual, and I warrant and represent to Jalu LLC that I am in suitable physical condition to use Jalu facilities, do not have any medical conditions or health issues that interfere with my ability to safely use the Jalu facilities and that Jalu LLC will not undertake any responsibility to determine whether I am medically or physically able to use the facilities safely. I understand and acknowledge that to protect the safety of Jalu Bathhouse’s customers and staff, I must not use the Jalu facilities if I have any infectious illness or disease, infection, rash, abrasion, cut, open wound or sore that may come into contact with the water, the benches, the tubs, and seating. I warrant and represent to Jalu LLC that I have no such medical conditions or health issues that may pose a safety or health risk to myself or to Jalu Bathhouse’s customers or staff through my use of the Jalu facilities. I agree and assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with my use of Jalu facilities including but not limited to any injury to my person or property, including death, caused by conditions, events or occurrences of any kind of nature arising out of or resulting from my use of the facilities. Jalu LLC is not liable for any natural, unforseen, or uncontrollable conditions, weather, damages, injuries or issues arriving from outside elements. In consideration for my use of the facilities, I hereby release Jalu LLC and its owners, employees, agents and outside consultants from any liability for any injury, illness, personal property damage or other harm which I may sustain as a result of my use of the Jalu facilities. I understand that this release applies to myself and my personal representatives, heirs and assigns. I agree to forever release, protect, indemnify, covenant not to sue and hold harmless Jalu LLC and its owners, employees, agents and outside consultants from any and all liabilities, claims damages, losses, causes of action, judgments, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, as a result of any injury or death resulting from the use of the Jalu facilities. Rules for Cleanliness, Safety and Respect of Others Stay Hydrated! All guests must shower well with soap before entering the tubs and sauna. Use care when entering and exiting the shower, sauna, and tubs. Floors and steps may be slippery- use caution. For cleanliness please use the provided sauna towels to sit on. No sexual acts. No use of intoxicants before or during your session. No oils, fragrances or soaps in the tubs- misuse fee applies. No glass containers. Please be aware that electronics should not be taken into the tubs or sauna, and those who do are liable for any harm that may come to them from heat, water, and steam. I understand and agree that I must sign the Jalu LLC release and waiver of liability berfore being permitted to use the Jalu bathhouse facilities. By signing this, I acknowledge that I am 18 years old and have read and understand the above notices and agree to abide by Jalu LLC's policies.
